Food Lifeline was started as a booster for families to cope with the added expenses incurred in preparing for Passover and the High Holy Days, has now evolved into a full-blown holistic operation – supporting the Jewish community across Greater London and Essex, as well as networking with welfare agencies in North England to arrange local distributions.
They do this through the distribution of Kosher food parcels and essentials. In addition to supporting 2000 families over Passover and the High Holy Days, today they offer weekly Shabbat food packages, as well as food parcels to those facing a sudden emergency crisis.
