This Saturday 8th October we will be taking part in a 10k walk with Two Mindful Bees to raise funds for SDCAS – a charity that helps relieve the poverty and distress of Asylum Seekers and Refugees.

SDCAS provide much-needed holistic and vital activities such as hot meals, legal advice, English classes, storytelling, creche facilities, socialising and many more.

Like many charities, they are badly affected by diminishing funding during this pandemic but continue to work tirelessly to combat the ever-growing poverty, health inequalities and exclusion faced by marginalised and destitute members of the community.

Together with Two Mindful Bees, we will be walking 10km along the river Thames, passing 4 bridges and 2 tunnels on Saturday 8th October, 2022.

We have a few little feet and two four-legged friends walking with us so your support and encouragement will greatly help us on our way.

Donate to SDCAS

We’d love it if you could join us on the walk or support us by donating (however big or small) on our Just Giving page: https://www.justgiving.com/team/LUV2MBs

Join us on the walk

If you would like to join us on our walk, we will be meeting at the Millennium Bridge (South End side) at 10am on Saturday 08 October 2022 where we will have a briefing and a group photo before departing at 10:30am.

We will then stop off at Surrey Docks Farm for lunch at around 11:30 before setting off for Greenwich before reaching our final destination at the Cutty Sark Gardens (the garden of the Royal Navy College, right next to the Cutty Sark) at 2pm.
