On Saturday 8th October, LUV partnered with Two Mindful Bees to raise money for SDCAS (Southwark Day Centre for Asylum Seekers) by taking part in a 10k walk along the River Thames.
We are pleased to announce that we have now raised £1,150 for SDCAS charity. These valuable donations will provide much-needed holistic and vital activities such as hot meals, legal advice, English classes, storytelling, creche facilities, socialising activities for Asylum Seekers. We are so grateful to everyone who has donated to SDCAS and provided kind words of support.
Starting at the Millennium Bridge, our riverside walk took us past Tower Bridge, with a rest stop at Surrey Docks Farm before finishing at the Cutty Sark.
We thoroughly enjoyed our picturesque walk that bought many friends and family members of LUV and Two Mindful Bees together. It was a beautiful sunny, autumnal day and we had the opportunity to admire many of London’s picturesque viewpoints along its iconic skyline.
Thank you to all the wonderful supporters, friends, and family. Either with donations, encouraging messages or joining the walk.
